Nolan Gasser is a preeminent pianist and bandleader, providing exceptional musical performance services for all types of events – from high-profile public, corporate, and private concerts to more casual private events such as weddings, birthday parties, etc. He has brought his roster of outstanding instrumentalists and vocalists to events across the country and the world, providing memorable musical performances for an endless list of outstanding clients – including the Wynn Las Vegas, M Financial Group, Morgan Stanley, Qwest Communications, Northstar Lake Tahoe, Tamarack Resort Idaho, and many others. He is the Music Director of Lynmar Winery in Sonoma County, where he is currently organizing a forthcoming music festival.

In all these events, Nolan works directly with the clients to select just the right style of music – Jazz, Pop, Rock, Broadway, Classical, etc.– and the perfect performers to meet their objectives, as well as to organize all of the logistical and practical aspects that make the event a success (sound, staging, lighting, instrumental rental, travel, etc.). No style of music is beyond his reach or expertise, and satisfaction is always guaranteed.

Among the many top professionals that Nolan utilizes for his concerts and events include, as a common denominator, the members of the Nolan Gasser Quartet – a jazz and eclectic group featuring Nolan on piano and keyboards, vibes/reeds player Roger Glenn, bassist Terry Miller, and drummer Andrew Eberhard; the Quartet is currently working on their first full-length CD recording, due out in fall 2009 (see News for more detail). The Quartet then provides a solid backup ensemble for a host of outstanding vocalists and instrumentalists, including Broadway veterans Marcus Lovett and Annie Kozuch, Bay Area cabaret favorite Tim Hockenberry, soul diva Sandy Griffin; as well as saxophonist John Handy, jazz guitarists Brian Nova and Ray Obiedo, trumpeter/vocalist Rich Armstrong, and countless others.

Whether it’s an elegant and formal concert, a large corporate gathering, a causal dinner and dance party, or anything in between, Nolan can put together just the right musical program to make the event a success. Sometimes, moreover, Nolan is requested to provide a solo piano concert, which can make a small, intimate dinner gathering a truly memorable event.
